Our SOLD OUT Booty Burn is BACK! This time with a whole new flavor, it’s the RiRi Remix! Join Shan de Leers, Delinquent Debutantes ASSistant Manager and Booty Coach for an hour and a half of toning and teasing, all focusing on your lovely derriere to a soundtrack stacked with the Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna!
We’re so thrilled to finally announce the launch of the Delinquent Debutantes Kickstarter! When I started the school back in 2010, it was mostly just me in an empty studio, with one or two students brave enough to see what this burlesque dance was. Slowly, with nearly all word-of-mouth marketing, I grew from a one woman show offering one class a week to a three instructor strong, five class a week school. And now it’s time to grow again. We’ve been subleasing space from our local dance studios, but we’re ready to be out on our own, offering classes, workshops, and uncensored shows all under one roof. The new studio will truly be our home in Nashville.
Our goal is $6,000 in order to cover our base costs, and our rewards are discounted classes, workshop, show season passes, and exclusive posters and prints. We’ve depended on our community before, and you’ve always come through.
Thank you for supporting local arts and body positivity!
Founded in 2010, Delinquent Debutantes is dedicated to bringing the best in burlesque education to Nashville. From bachelorette parties to world-class workshops, Delinquent Debutantes encourages women of all shapes, sizes and abilities to find strength in their sexy. Now, we’re going full time, expanding our small class offering to a full blown studio, with classes every night and shows every other weekend! But we can’t do it without you! The Delinquent Debutantes Cotillion is an intimate uncensored show where all proceeds will go to use rehabbing our new home. There are only 60 tickets available, so help out your local burlesque scene and come see a great show!

We’re a super small shop, and we love spending most of our time choreographing and dancing with you, but we know you have questions, and we have answers! Below find some of your most burning questions, answered. Still got questions? Email us!
1. I want to sign up for the next round of classes, but it’s not on the website yet!
We’re so excited you want to shimmy with us! If it’s not on the website yet, that means we’re still working out the schedule with our studio. We always send semester announcements via our newsletter, so if you want to be in the very first round of people to know, sign up here.
2. I have no dance experience/am out of shape/have an injury. Can I still take the class?
Absolutely no dance experience is required to take our classes, and if you’re going to get in shape, why not dance and have fun while doing it!? In fact, burlesque dance style is very different from modern or ballet or even swing, so even if other students do have experience, everyone is on even footing! If you’re working with an injury, please make sure you’re cleared from your doctor, but if you are, we’ll do our best to modify the choreography for your movement needs.
3. Can I come and watch a class?
The short answer is no. The better answer is that because we’re putting on heels and strutting our stuff, we only allow participants in classes. While you can’t watch, you are totally welcome to purchase a drop in class at $15 and try it out. No commitment, just dance.
4. Do I have to get on stage?
Only if you want to! There is no performance for our 101, 201, or workshops, just you and your classmates. The only class that culminates in a stage performance is 301, and even then you may opt to take the class without performing.
5. I want to hire Freya, Shan and the Debs for an event!
Thank you! We’d love to be involved in making your party, corporate retreat, bachelorette or shindig more excellent. Email us, and I will check to make sure the date is available for myself/your requested performers and email you back lickity split!
